Two longstanding members of the Quest Serviced Apartments family have joined forces to take the reigns at the company’s newest property in North Sydney, New South Wales.
Existing Quest St Leonards franchisee Brent Howard will combine his duties as General Manager at his existing property – about ten minutes’ drive along the Pacific Highway from the new location, of which he will own the majority share. Howard will team up with Josh Harkness – currently the Front Office Manager at Quest Quest King William South in Adelaide – who will relocate to Sydney as the new General Manager at Quest North Sydney.
The property is located four kilometres from the Sydney CBD, is close to North Sydney railway station and is also well served with city buses a short walk away.
Quest North Sydney forms part of a mixed-use development from Yuhu, offering 100 serviced apartments alongside 169 residential units sold and managed separately. The property is Quest’s 29th location in New South Wales and is due to open to guests from October. The serviced apartments come in studio, one and two-bedroom configurations, all with high-speed WiFi and Smart televisions. Guests will also have access to full kitchens and ergonomic desks.
The joint franchisee business model from Quest has been a big success in 2019, with multiple new locations opened drawing on the experience of existing franchisees, who join forces with high-performing staff in the Quest network as part of the company’s Franchisee Accelerator Program.
Speaking of the new opportunity, Mr Howard said he was eager to work with Mr Harkness on the new North Sydney location.
