The fourth-annual Australian Revenue Management Association (ARMA) Summit will once again address the issues associated by revenue management professionals in the accommodation industry, organisers have announced.

Themed ‘Connect and Grow’, the Summit is scheduled to take place on 14 and 15 August at Rydges Melbourne. The two-day event will be capped off with a keynote presentation from Village Entertainment Group on strategies, application and yield management in the cinema industry. Sessions on revenue and yield management in the television industry will also be shared to give delegates an insight into the tricks and tips other industries practice.

In addition, workshops and the popular ‘Genius Zone’ sessions will return to help delegates share knowledge and walk away with a refreshed approach to their roles.

Success stories this year will include Yering Gorge Cottages, which will share with clients how it recently achieved its best trading year ever. An expert facilitated session by world-renowned pricing gurus Simon-Kucher and Partners will also return by popular demand.

Four educational workshops covering topics such as ‘Dirty Data’, ‘The Power of Trust’, ‘Hospitality Disrupted’ and ‘The Path to Profit’ will headline Day 2, said ARMA Founder and Chief Summit Organiser, Melissa Kalan.

“P&O Cruises Australia will once again support the major prize of two cruises and ARMA will give away some online revenue management foundation courses,” Kalan added.

The event continues to go from strength to strength, with over 220 revenue management delegates attending the 2018 summit. It is open to anybody in the accommodation and hospitality industry with an interest in maximising revenue and growing profits.
