Quest will help franchisees access support needed for their individual community charity endeavours.

Franchisees of Quest Apartment Hotels will see renewed encouragement from head office to get involved more deeply on various outreach programs as part of a relaunched company-wide community support initiative.

The renewed ‘Quest for a Cause’ aims to better recognise and draw praise and attention to the regular charity endeavours, donations and support measures offered by franchise business owners in their local communities. The push aims to cement the company as a preferred franchising provider by highlighting the extensive charity work already conducted both at a company-wide level and by individual franchisees.

Quest is continuing its support for the ‘Housing All Australians’ program which works to offer temporary accommodation to the homeless both by making use of otherwise vacant property and through special break-even rates provided to the Salvation Army. Housing All Australians is an initiative led by former hotel General Manager, Robert Pradolin.

Housing All Australians is an initiative of a former hotel GM working to see vacant buildings used as short-term housing.

The ‘Quest for a Cause’ structure will also include the company’s work alongside the Sony Foundation which through the ‘You Can Stay’ program, provides accommodation to young cancer patients aged 15-25 from regional and rural parts of Australia who are seeking treatment in city hospitals.

Under the revised initiative, the company will operate a registration portal and local area marketing resources to help franchisees access the support needed for the programs and to help showcase the work through local media networks.

“For Quest, the revitalised ‘Quest for a Cause’ framework makes the process of engaging with local community causes even easier for our business owners, our teams and our network,” said Quest General Manager of Franchise Operations, David Ridgeway.

Quest provides emergency accommodation and other supplies among its charity initiatives.

“It’s truly heart-warming to hear about business owners across the country who despite having faced some momentous challenges themselves during COVID-19 continue to search for ways to champion local causes.”

“They’re supporting youth programs in regional Queensland, donating furniture to charities, and helping raise funds for people battling terminal illness.

“These are just a few of the charitable causes Quest business owners support, so we’re thrilled to formalise our ‘Quest for a Cause’ program to best share their efforts with guests and the wider community,” Ridgeway added.
