Air Austral has reversed a decision to dump Sydney flights

After initially announcing the culling of the route, Air Austral has released a new schedule for Reunion-Sydney-Noumea flights effective March 24.

Flights will operate on a weekly basis (Sundays) from March 24 until May 9, 2012, when they will then be increased to twice-weekly (adding Thursdays).

As part of the launch, the airline is offering airfares of just $814 per person return in economy, $1646 return in premium economy and $2849 in Business, all including taxes.

Services will be operated by a Boeing 777-200LR that features 14 Business, 32 premium economy and 316 economy passengers.
