Ovolo Hotels has launched professional haircare delivery at its hotels throughout Australia under a new partnership with Tresemmé.

The complimentary Hair Service Menu, which is reported to be a world first, is accessible via a QR code in guest rooms at the group’s hotels in Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra and Brisbane.

Guests can order products as part of a multi-step regime, tailored for their hair type, for delivery to their room as soon as possible.

“Partnering with Tresemmé to offer our guests an unparalleled and world first Hair Service Menu experience during their stay, is a masterstroke,” said Ovolo Hotels Group Director of Marketing, Stephen Howard.

“At Ovolo Hotels, we’re constantly exploring new experiences for our guests to enhance their stay and we believe they will absolutely love this addition.”

The haircare products are in addition to a range of in-room amenities such as body wash and lotion, and aims to offer guests a more bespoke experience, Ovolo said.

“We saw this partnership as an opportunity to give our customers a unique experience and offer them choice when it comes to hotel amenities and hair care,” Ovolo Hotels Marketing Communications and Campaign Manager, Toby Franklin, told HM.

“Hair care, like skincare, is very much a personal preference and this gives our guests the ability to order hair products that are customised to their hair type.”

The service, which runs for one month until June 10, allows Tresemmé to engage directly with Ovolo guests.
