Hotel industry leader Shantha de Silva is embarking on a new venture with the launch of hospitality consulting firm, SDS Hospitality Solutions.
De Silva, who most recently served as Pro-invest Group Chief Operating Officer – Hotels, will bring decades of hospitality industry experience, specialising in hotel development, operations management, and asset management, to clients across the South East Asia, South West Asia and Australasia markets.

At Pro-invest Group, de Silva was instrumental in a major transformation, growing the business from eight to 22 operating hotels within eight months, and building a strong foundation for expansion across both operations and commerical.
Prior to Pro-invest Group, de Silva spent over 35 years with IHG, leading businesses and functions across South East Asia, South West Asia, South Pacific and Australasia, responsible for an annual turnover of nearly AU$1 billion.
With insights into the sector’s complex challenges and many opportunities, SDS Hospitality Solutions is well positioned to make recommendations on enhanced operational efficiencies, innovative development strategies, and maximise asset values.
