Sunshine Coast property Ramada Resort by Wyndham Golden Beach has completed an extensive AU$5.8 million refurbishment spanning its club apartments and common areas to offer a more contemporary experience for guests.

The mixed-use property in Caloundra, which is managed by Wyndham Destinations Asia Pacific, features Club Wyndham South Pacific apartments, hotel inventory, and private residences.

The refurbishment of all 60 apartments – which focused on maximising space, functionality and accessibility – included upgraded bathrooms with walk-in shower, the addition of brand-new kitchens, revamped flooring, stylish furniture, and the installation of external shutters on the balconies.

The coastal-inspired theme across each one and two-bedroom apartment incorporates various shades of blue, white, and navy.

The revamped pool area features new astroturf, shade umbrellas, pool furniture, and bean bags, as well as a slippery dip. A new pickle ball court has also opened on the resort grounds.

Guests can also now hire bikes, e-bikes, canoes, and stand-up paddleboards, with complimentary hire available for club members.

“We are proud to unveil this stunning refurbishment project,” said General Manager, Nigel Warwick.

“The completed result reflects our commitment to providing an elevated and contemporary holiday experience for our club members and resort guests.

“The blend of thoughtful design, modern amenities, and coastal inspiration creates an inviting and welcoming atmosphere for all visitors.”

Club Wyndham South Pacific has close to 60,000 members and a network of 52 resorts across Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, Thailand, Indonesia, Japan, Hawaii, and Europe.

It brings over 10,000 visitors to the Sunshine Coast every year through its club inventory at both Ramada Golden Beach and Ramada by Wyndham Marcoola Beach, with these visitors spending an estimated AU$22 million on the Sunshine Coast each year.
