Wayfarer’s popular destination-based travel TV show is now being broadcast onboard Air New Zealand’s flights across the globe, with the carrier’s 18 million annual passengers able to view insider guides to some of the airline’s most in-demand destinations.
The Wayfarer travel TV show episodes featuring Singapore, Beijing, Shanghai and Hamilton Island will be available onboard the carrier’s Boeing 787-9, Boeing 777-300ER, Airbus A320 and Airbus A321 fleet which fly key routes across the world, including Auckland, New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Houston, Honolulu, Sydney, Singapore, Vancouver, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Shanghai, Cairns, Perth and more.
The launch of the Wayfarer TV show inflight on Air New Zealand follows recent announcements of the show being broadcast on Fiji Airways and WestJet flights, alongside Wayfarer magazine being available in over 45 United Clubs across the United States, and onboard the Gatwick Express, Thameslink, Southern and Great Northern trains in the United Kingdom.
Wayfarer’s deal to screen episodes on Air New Zealand also comes on the back of recent broadcast agreements on key networks across the world.
Wayfarer is also available on Tubi in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom and New Zealand, and increases the TV show’s reach of over 5 million to date in over 60 nations, thanks to the show being broadcast to date on Sky News Australia, on Roku in the United States, Canada and the UK, on Paramount Steaming’s Pluto TV in Europe, onboard WestJet in Canada, on the Australia channel across Asia and the Middle East, and most recently, across South Africa, Ireland and the United Kingdom through On Demand 365.
Hosted by award-winning travel editor James Wilkinson, series one features destination guides to London, New York, Paris, Los Angeles, Berlin, Singapore, Honolulu and Maui and on each episode, Wayfarer uncovers the best hotels, bars, restaurants, galleries and much more.
