Hilton Melbourne Little Queen Street (HMLQS) has been selected as the official hotel partner of the Melbourne Food and Wine Festival (MFWF) for 2024.

As well as offering festival attendees access to an exclusive room offer of 20% off the base rate, the hotel’s restaurant Luci will host the festival’s opening night party.

“MFWF is a true celebration of Melbourne and its reputation as the food capital of Australia, with world class guests and events,” said Hilton Melbourne LQS General Manager, Jeremy Healy.

“The partnership with Hilton is set to elevate the overall experience for attendees, offering a seamless blend of opulent accommodation and immersive gastronomic adventures. We can’t wait to showcase our beautiful restaurant, Luci and the hotel to a local, national and international audience.”

Luci will also act as the official Melbourne base to a number of renowned national and international chefs including Sarah Cicolini of Rome’s Santo Palato; Dan Hong, Head Chef, Mr Wong; Neil Perry, Head Chef and Co-owner of Margaret; and Chef Kanji Kobayashi, a specialist in hyperlocal cuisine.

Food and Drink Victoria CEO, Anthea Loucas Bosha, said the festival is thrilled to partner with “one of the city’s gems”.

“This partnership marks an exciting chapter for both, and our visiting chefs and attendees will be sure to fall in love with the Art Deco grandeur of the hotel, its beautiful restaurant Luci, as well as its central CBD location with Melbourne on its doorstep,” Bosha said.

Hilton Melbourne LQS recently partnered with NGV for the second year as its summer exhibition hotel partner and hosted a rooftop terrace pickleball court during this year’s Australian Open.
