Quest Apartment Hotels New Zealand has introduced its third Christchurch hotel with the opening of Quest on Cambridge in Christchurch last week.

It’s the third opening of 2023 for the independently owned and operated accommodation group and marks their 42nd property in New Zealand & Fiji.

“The opening of Quest on Cambridge Terrace in Christchurch is the third of the four properties we have planned for Christchurch,” said Quest Apartment Hotels (NZ), Chief Operating Officer, Adrian Turner.

“It will support Quest Cathedral Junction and Quest on Manchester and provide much needed inventory for the Christchurch market especially since the opening of Te Pae, Christchurch’s new convention centre.

“We are already seeing many advance bookings from both our existing corporate clients as well as our new clients to experience the Quest boutique apartment hotels.”

Located at 77 Cambridge Terrace, Christchurch, close to the restaurant strip of Oxford Terrace, the 84-room hotel offers a central location for business and leisure guests including a meeting room that can cater to 20 people.

The hotel is operated by George Lin, who was the previous franchisee at Quest Cathedral Junction.

“I have been with Quest since 2016 when I became the franchisee at Quest Cathedral Junction,” said Lin.

“When the opportunity came up for me to take on a brand-new property, I knew I wanted to do that and approached Quest.

“Opening Quest on Cambridge, which is the second largest in the Quest network, is an amazing opportunity and my team and I are looking forward to providing the same exceptional customer service to guests here that the other teams here in Christchurch at Quest on Manchester and Quest Cathedral Junction already do. We are looking forward to the exciting times ahead.”

Quest will also open its fourth Christchurch hotel next year with the opening of Quest on Kilmore in May.
