Marriott International is preparing to introduce its experiential hotel brand Moxy to the Australian market for the first time with the upcoming arrival of Moxy Sydney Airport.
The 301-room hotel, located on the doorstep of Sydney Domestic Airport, is now taking bookings for stays from 1 September 2023.
Known for its “stylish and playful” approach, Moxy aims to deliver an “unconventional hotel experience”.

“Edgy but seriously considered, Moxy Sydney Airport will make you rethink everything you knew about a hotel stay – from our cleverly designed rooms to our check-in at the bar. Our ambition is to create a hotel that welcomes visitors with an inclusive experience – one that Sydneysiders will embrace with open arms.”
The new hotel will feature vibrant communal spaces, 24/7 dining options, as well as flexible working and meeting spaces.
Ahead of its official opening, the hotel has shared a first look of its small but smart guestrooms that reflects the neighbourhood’s industrial and art deco heritage.
The thoughtfully-designed rooms feature an abundance of natural light and optimise space with open-storage concepts and dual-purpose foldaway furniture. The bathroom vanity, complete with a steamer, sits within the room to further save on space.
