The hotly anticipated Capella Sydney is gearing up for its March 2023 opening with a recruitment drive to secure top talent across a variety of divisions.
At its Careers Open Day, taking place in Torrens University Sydney on November 9, potential candidates will be invited to learn about the business and find out about upcoming job opportunities and future projects.
Guest speakers Capella Hotel Group’s Vice President of Human Resources, Jacinta Soh, and Corporate Director, Learning and Talent Development, Richmond Kok, will also share insights into careers at the hotel company.
Capella Sydney will be the first Capella hotel to operate in Australia and is expected to set a global benchmark for luxury accommodation, cuisine, and cultural immersion.
The 192-room hotel, which spans eight levels, will feature three ground-floor food and beverage venues, a wellness offering as well as wedding and events spaces.
Set in the heritage-listed Department of Education building near Circular Quay, the property will blend old and new with storied architectural features alongside a contemporary design aesthetic.
In February, the group announced Marc von Arnim as General Manager of the new hotel.
