New Zealand-based Fable Hotels and Resorts has branded its first resort property, Terrace Downs Resort in Canterbury.

CPG-owned Fable officially opened the property – its third in the South Island – as Fable Terrace Downs Resort on Tuesday March 8.

“This resort has a rich legacy in this area and we’re looking forward to elevating Fable Terrace Downs Resort even further to become the premier luxury resort in the Canterbury region,” said CPG Group Operations Manager, Ronnie Ronalde.

“World-class facilities and breathtaking scenery lend this resort perfectly to celebrations, conferences and events, are a key focus for our specialist team.”

Located an hour from Christchurch, the luxury property features an 18-hole golf course with views over the Southern Alps and the Rakaia Gorge. The course has been ranked in the country’s top five courses by New Zealand Golf magazine.

Fable Terrace Downs Resort also offers a driving range and activities such as horse riding, archery and clay bird shooting, making it an attractive destination for leisure travellers.

The resort features a clubhouse, restaurant, conference and event facilities, activity centre and 25 luxury one, two or three bedroom villas.

Ryan Crocker has been appointed as General Manager of the resort which will soon undergo a full refurbishment.
