TFE Hotels is rolling on with the expansion of its apartment-style Adina brand across Europe, with the label opening doors in the German city of Cologne.
Adina Apartment Hotel Cologne sits on the banks of the Rhine River in MesseCity and is located close to the Cologne Trade Fair, Laxness Arena and the Messe/Deutz long-distance railway station.
The 171-room hotel is positioned just outside the Cologne city centre and is aimed at both leisure and corporate travellers, featuring two open-air terraces, a restaurant, heated swimming pool and a sauna.
TFE Hotels Group Chief Operating Officer, Chris Sedgwick, said the fact the brand has opened 10 new hotels in Australia, New Zealand and Europe despite ongoing difficult trading conditions spoke volumes about the strength of the brand overall.
Adina’s next target is Switzerland, where it has a signed hotel in development which is on track to open in 2023.
“We now turn our attention to Europe where we have some terrific hotels in the pipeline including our very first Adina Apartment Hotels in Cologne, Munich, Wiesbaden, Stuttgart and Dusseldorf,” he said.
“TFE Hotels is a company on the move and we’ll and continue to seek out new markets, and strategic and entrepreneurial opportunities for our European business,” Sedgwick added.
