A by Adina Canberra General Manager, Jelena Bojanic cuts the ribbon with Canberra Airport Chief Executive, Stephen Byron.

Premium apartment brand A by Adina has taken its first steps, with the opening location in Canberra cutting the ceremonial ribbon and welcoming its first guests to the TFE Hotels property this week.

In attendance at the ceremony was Canberra Airport Chief Executive, Stephen Byron, and TFE Hotels ACT/NSW Regional General Manager, Emma Hynes. The first guests to walk through the doors were personally welcomed by A by Adina Canberra General Manager, Jelena Bojanic.

Coupled to the new hotel is the concept of ‘hotel living’ which TFE Hotels says will elevate the Adina brand into “a class of its own”. The guest experience aims to blend that of a luxury hotel with the space associated with a residential apartment. Designed by Bates Smart, A by Adina Canberra features 130 apartments in studio, one and two-bedroom configurations, operating over four floors as part of the AUD$300 million Constitution Place mixed-use precinct in the city’s CBD.

TFE Hotels CEO, Antony Ritch, said A by Adina sets a new precedent when it comes to exceptional room design and use of space.

“We are of the belief that different stays shouldn’t need a different hotel each time,” Ritch said.

“So, our A by Adinas bring to life the idea of ‘hotel living’ by embracing the duality of a premium hotel stay with the familiarity that comes from an elevated away-from-home experience.

The premium brand aims to champion the concept of ‘hotel living’.

“Guests can expect thoughtful contemporary Australian design, the quiet confidence of intuitive service that make every day a bit more special, details in the detail and, above all, the freedom to stay their own way. All of the apartments are beautifully designed – in my opinion, some of the best Adina hotel rooms we have released to date,” he added.

Other guest facilities include a fitness centre and 24/7 concierge along with a Melbourne-style laneway which connects to Canberra Theatre Centre.
