Best Western has been active in regional Australia for decades.

Five eligible nights, three individual stays or accrual of 5,000 points will be all that is required for travellers worldwide to earn Elite Status in the Best Western Rewards loyalty program for 2021, the company announced.

As part of a new ‘Holiday Your Way with Best Western’ campaign, qualifying thresholds for lower tiers in the program have also been reduced in order to entice more people to travel and to encourage greater levels of loyalty.

Members who reach Elite level earn 500 points with each qualifying stay and up to 50% bonus points with each subsequent stay. The eligible campaign period for guests to earn promotion to Elite and other tiers runs from 15 February 2021 to 9 May 2021. A further incentive of a USD$25 travel card to put towards further stays will be earned for each night booked within this period, up to a maximum of four nights.

The points bonanza follows a similar loyalty incentive launched last year at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic whereby existing loyalty tiers were frozen until 31 January 2022.

“As the world embraces 2021 with a renewed sense of hope, Best Western is pleased to help guests rediscover the power of travel and reward them along the way,” said Leanne Stocks, BWH Hotel Group Australasia Director of Sales & Marketing.

According to Best Western’s website, any traveller who earns the Elite Status tier will remain at that level until at least March 31, 2023.
