Tank Stream Hotel features 280 rooms and sits within Event Hospitality's 'Quality' tier.

Event Hospitality and Entertainment Limited has continued to grow its affiliate management network, today adding Sydney’s Tank Stream Hotel to the collection, with the hotel to come online later this month.

The 280-room property becomes the newest affiliate member of Event Hospitality’s stable, following the addition in September of The Oval Hotel at Adelaide Oval in South Australia. The move will see Tank Stream Hotel become part of Event’s Priority Guest Rewards loyalty program as well as access to the company’s sales, marketing and distribution nous.

Tank Stream Hotel, which will maintain its own branding under the affiliate partnership, owes its name to its location above Sydney’s first fresh water supply, now a heritage-listed tributary under the CBD. The hotel’s one-rate concept includes a non-alcoholic mini-bar for guests, in-room movies, WiFi and premium amenities.

Event Hospitality Director of Hotels and Resorts, Norman Arundel, said the company was thrilled to be forming a new partnership with Tank Stream and that it was committed to supporting the recovery of the Australian travel and hospitality industry.

“Working together, we will support The Tank Stream team to drive business and achieve the best results possible in the market, delivering the benefit of our robust systems and industry knowledge to extend their market reach, while maintaining their unique brand identity,” Arundel said.

The hotel owner’s – IGB Berhad – said the hotel’s commitment is all about offering simple, well-designed and exceptional value to travellers.

“We are excited to work with the passionate team at EVENT,” said IGB Berhad Deputy Group Chief Executive Officer, Boon Lee Tan.

“This partnership will enable us to continue to grow our market share both in the Australian market and more broadly, as travel and tourism re-opens.”
