Best Western Plus Bolton on the Park, in Wagga Wagga, NSW.

Wagga Wagga’s family-owned and run Bolton on the Park hotel has joined the BWH Hotel Group portfolio in an effort to help the property expand its source markets and capitalise on the current highs in regional tourism.

The 28-room property is located on Tarcutta Street in the NSW Riverina town and located close to local dining, shopping, attractions and Robertson Oval. The hotel’s owners are residents of Wagga Wagga and say they take pride in the hotel’s focus on hiring local staff and sourcing product from local suppliers.

The hotel will become part of BWH’s Best Western Plus network and henceforth be known and marketed as Best Western Plus Bolton on the Park. Accommodations range from 15 superior rooms, 10 premium rooms with park views, two family suites and a two-bedroom apartment aimed at families and larger parties.

BWH Hotel Group Managing Director Australasia, Graham Perry, said he was delighted to have the family-owned property join the network.

Best Western Plus Bolton on the Park features 28 rooms including a two-bedroom apartment.

“The quality of the hotel is aligned to the calibre of Best Western Plus properties, with a strong focus on standards and providing exceptional customer service,” he said.

“While it may seem counterintuitive given current circumstances, we actually believe it’s a brilliant time for an independent hotel to join a brand to give the property the best possible opportunity to relaunch strongly into the ‘new normal’.”

Best Western Plus Bolton on the Park Owner and GM, Murray Gabriel, added that management felt the time was right to push onto a bigger platform after five years of independent success.

“We’re exceptionally proud of the hotel, with some of the newest and largest rooms in Wagga. The quality of the Best Western Plus brand matches the quality we’ve instilled in our business, and that was what drove us to partner with them,” he said.
