Marriott International has revamped its former Meetings Imagined portal, aligning it with the Marriott Bonvoy loyalty program and providing a comprehensive tool for meeting and event planners across its global property estate.
Detailed information about the event and function catering options at the group’s 5,700-plus hotels worldwide is available through the new MarriottBonvoyEvents.com portal. In addition to booking functionality, the site features articles on the meetings sector, tips for inspiration from industry experts, success stories, destination highlights and promotions available across the hotel portfolio.
In addition, meeting planners can earn and redeem Bonvoy loyalty points, with estimated earns available through a points calculator which will inform a planner how many they are likely to earn by completing their booking.
Further features include an interactive map allowing planners to search for the best hotel capable of catering to events of different sizes. Planners can access the number of rooms available, size of meeting spaces, floorplans and can also submit Requests for Proposals to hotels directly.
Marriott International Senior Vice President of Global Sales, Tammy Routh, said planners can use the new portal to find the best spaces for events of all sizes.

The introduction of Marriot Bonvoy Events marks the next phase in the global transformation and consolidation of Marriott International’s loyalty programs under the Bonvoy umbrella. Last year, the hotel and hospitality giant discontinued its Starwood Preferred Guest, Marriott Rewards and Ritz-Carlton Rewards loyalty program, consolidating the three under Marriott Bonvoy.
