Five stars from Accor’s ranks have been named among the newest crop of General Managers to take charge of properties across Australia.

In Western Sydney, Joshua Lusty has risen through the ranks in his seven years with the company to-date, named today to take charge at Ibis Budget Wentworthville, near Parramatta. Lusty has held a number of roles throughout the region, having worked at Pullman, Novotel and Ibis Sydney Olympic Park precinct and Ibis Budget St Peters and Assistant Manager roles at Sydney Airport and the William Inglis – MGallery by Sofitel – his most recent post.

Mantra City Central has welcomed Maria Seroukas as its new GM. Over her nine years with Accor, Seroukas has climbed the ladder from her beginnings in an F&B role at Mantra on Little Bourke and Front Office Manager at Mantra St Kilda Road.

Accor veteran Alison Baker will take charge as the new General Manager at BreakFree Adelaide, moving across from Mantra on Frome. Baker is highly experienced in the South Australian hotel scene, having previously held multiple Revenue Management roles with Mantra prior to Accor acquiring the brand last year.

Former Operations Manager at Fraser Suites Sydney, Tate Manduku, has been promoted to General Manager at BreakFree on George, Sydney. A former Highly Commended winner at the HM Awards, Manduku brings many years of industry and service experience to his new role.

Armed with his F&B background, Cameron Baker will take charge as General Manager at Mantra Lorne in southern Victoria, moving from central Melbourne where he held apartment management roles with Accor’s Sebel brand. Baker moves from his most recent GM appointment at The Sebel Melbourne Docklands.
