The Calile Hotel in Brisbane has named Jeremy Nordkamp as its opening General Manager.

Ahead of its grand opening on 24 September, TFE Hotels has unveiled Jeremy Nordkamp as the launch General Manager of its brand new Brisbane property, The Calile Hotel.

Nordkamp is well versed in the unique challenges which come from opening a hotel for the first time, having been at the helm for Kandima Maldives during its pre-opening preparations and leading operations post-opening.

A staunch devotee for exemplary customer service, Nordkamp will work to use this passion for service to help establish TFE Hotels’ newest Brisbane address as the city’s “most desirable destination”. Designed as Australia’s newest urban resort with a subtropical climate amid city streets, the property will offer guests a number of trendy cocktail bars, multiple restaurants and spa facilities.

“The Calile Hotel will offer an urban resort experience like no other and I’m excited to be part of the team at TFE Hotels to launch it. The Calile Hotel will set a new benchmark for guest experiences through design, fashion and a high level of impeccable hospitality,” Nordkamp said.

Nordkamp will head up a strong opening team of professionals driving their respective departments. Among these are F&B Manager Katrina Ford and Executive Chef Kitak Lee. In charge of Sales & Marketing will be Kristie Mancell, who joins from Sofitel Brisbane Central. The spa, designed by Meaghan South, will be led by Dr Edwina Morgan and a gym under the guidance of fitness professional Tristian Forbes.
