Travelling performers will be calling Mantra Hotels home during two major festivals.

Artists and comedians performing at the 2019 Adelaide’s Fringe Festival and Melbourne Comedy Festival will be housed in Mantra Hotels and Serviced Apartments properties across both cities under a partnership between the AccorHotels brand and UK-based brand Nestival.

Performers will be roomed across Mantra, Peppers, Art Series and BreakFree branded properties for the duration of both festivals – a move which will significantly increase the number and quality of performers journeying to the South Australian and Victorian capital cities next year.

The Adelaide Fringe Festival and Melbourne Comedy Festival are the world’s second-largest arts festival and third-largest comedy festival respectively.

Founded in 2012, Nestival works to provide a ‘Nest’, as the name suggests, to solo performers and their supporting crew at arts, music and performance festivals. Working with accommodation providers ranging from hotels down to homesteads and B&B’s, Nestival has provided over 80,000 bed nights to travelling performers since its inception.

Mantra Group Executive Director of Sales, Luke Moran, said the company was excited at the potential partnership ahead and the prospect of housing so many talented people under its roofs.

“We are honoured to work with Nestival to bring even more international guests to Australia to experience all that the Festivals and Australia have to offer.”
