Toga Hotels has been appointed by the Central Coast Mariners as the operator of a new build property in regional New South Wales, the Travelodge Hotel Mariners Tuggerah.

The brand new, 130-room Tuggerah hotel is anticipated to open late 2013 and will provide all the trademarks of the Travelodge brand; comfortable accommodation, friendly service and great value.

According to Toga Group’s Managing Director Allan Vidor, the location is an excellent fit for the Travelodge brand, in line with Toga Hotels’ strategy to expand Travelodge Hotels into key regional markets.

“Toga Hotels is delighted to have been appointed operator of Travelodge Hotel Mariners Tuggerah by the Central Coast Mariners,” he said. “It is testament to Toga Hotels’ excellent track record of delivering highly optimised investor returns that we continue to attract high profile partnerships.

“Along with Central Coast Mariners, 2012 has also seen Toga Hotels enter a new operating agreement with the Australian Turf Club for Adina Apartment Hotel Royal Randwick Racecourse. We welcome the opportunity to manage hotels for potential investors.”

Travelodge Hotel Mariners Tuggerah will take the total number of hotels within the Travelodge portfolio to 17 and 2825 keys.

Travelodge Hotel Mariners Tuggerah is part of an exciting new development by the Central Coast Mariners. The Centre of Excellence will provide leading sporting facilities, attracting both Domestic and International groups. Upon completion, the Centre of Excellence will feature the 130 room Travelodge Hotel Mariners Tuggerah, seven full sized pitches, a 3,000-seat stadium, 10 multi-purpose courts, a licenced club with a 400 person capacity function centre, Aquatic Centre and an office block.

Situated directly across the road from Tuggerah Business Park, Travelodge Hotel Mariners Tuggerah will be a welcome addition to service accommodation needs of local corporate and government markets.  Additionally, the hotel’s conferencing facilities are expected to be a hit with those businesses located in the Tuggerah Business Park and on the Central Coast.
