Swiss-Belhotel International is set to make its long-awaited return to Brisbane in April 2023 with the signing of a new hotel under its mother brand.

The 4-star Swiss-Belhotel Brisbane is in the final stages of development and will bring a unique accommodation offering to the area when it opens.

The fully equipped hotel at Woolloongabba will offer 103 rooms, seven suites and two penthouses to cater to a variety of guests’ needs. Guests will be able to unwind in the spectacular rooftop area featuring a swimming pool, dining, and a rooftop bar or re-energize themselves in the gymnasium and sauna. A multifunctional conference space with the latest technology will provide an ideal location for business meetings.

The hotel is supremely positioned to accommodate the influx of international travellers for the 2032 Brisbane Olympics, being located directly across from the Brisbane Cricket Ground – commonly known as the Gabba which hosts all major sporting events.

Swiss-Belhotel International prides itself on offering quality market-positioned hospitality experiences, at the right value point.

Chairman and President, Gavin M. Faull, said the company’s strong connection to hotel owners is a powerful part of its model.

“The company’s model is to manage the hotel business as the owner’s partner working in close unison and communication with the owner,” he said.

“We are honoured with the opportunity provided to us by Enzcorp Pty Ltd, the Owning Company of the property in Brisbane.”

Mr. Patrick Laybutt, Vice President – Operations & Development, Australia and New Zealand, emphasized, “We are proud of returning to this spectacular destination; Swiss-Belhotel Brisbane is being developed as a best-in-class product over 11 stories. Catering to the diverse needs of both business and leisure guests, the hotel is being equipped with all modern facilities to offer a work-life balance.”

The Brisbane hotel is the latest in a series of signings by Swiss-Belhotel International across Australia and New Zealand, which is one of the company’s top three priority markets in the group’s expansion strategy.

The company currently has 125 hotels and projects across 19 countries and is targeting 200 hotels by 2030.
