In Australasia, the group has achieved significant milestones with the signing of new flagship projects, including the Radisson Blu Mirage Resort, Fiji Naisoso Island. Situated on the newly developed tourism and residential enclave, this absolute beachfront resort will be the second Radisson Blu brand to enter the Fiji market.

“The Radisson Blu brand was a natural fit for Fiji. Already, Radisson Hotel Group has experienced strong commercial success with the Radisson Blu Resort Fiji on Denarau Island, renowned for its family-friendly offerings and excellent service. This new project allows us to leverage our industry-leading brands to establish a strong presence and recognition in an all-new destination, catering to a new generation of travelers seeking a different side of Fiji,” said Lachlan Hoswell, Managing Director, Australasia, Radisson Hotel Group.

The 250-key resort will offer world-class amenities, including two beachfront swimming pools, three restaurants, an elegant rooftop restaurant and bar, a sunset bar, a café, a spa and fitness centre, kids club, tour desk, and event spaces.

Additionally, Radisson Hotel Group will be launching the first Radisson RED in New Zealand in partnership with the Stonewood Group. Located in the commercial heart of Auckland on Queen Street, the hotel offers a perfect blend of work and play thanks to its close proximity to shopping, dining, gaming attractions and a short walk to the central business district.

Lachlan Hoswell commented “The Radisson RED brand is a perfect fit for Auckland, with lifestyle hotels performing strongly in market. We recently inspected the mock up rooms for the hotel and they capture the essence of the brand with timber flooring, stone bench tops, high ceilings with design elements that create a dynamic energy in the room, we cannot wait to see the hotel open.”

Radisson RED, an upper-upscale lifestyle brand targeting modern, savvy travelers, offers a fun and creative design concept, equipped with playful touches, new innovations, and unique local art. Designed to be cool and functional, Radisson RED hotels feature communal spaces for guests and locals to stay and socialize, making them suitable for both business and leisure travelers.

To address the increasing operational costs facing Australasian owners, Radisson Hotel Group is launching new initiatives to drive revenue and provide added value. These include strategic enhancements such as The Club of Revenue Management—a centralized team of revenue experts providing regular strategic guidance and day-to-day management to increase profitability—and a bespoke franchise offering tailored for the Australasian market to enhance cost benefits.

Furthermore, the group is rolling out its exclusive unified technology platform, EMMA, at the new Radisson RED Auckland. The platform streamlines operations and enhances the guest experience with features like contactless check-in.

With a commercial engine that influences 70% of revenues and one of the strongest gross operating profit margins in the industry, Radisson Hotel Group offers a robust distribution system through its global rewards program providing access to more than 170 million members.
