Minor Hotels will manage the first luxury beachfront resort at Seseh Beach in Bali with the opening of a new-build property and branded residences in 2027.

Developed and owned by real estate and development company, Taryan Group, Anantara Dragon Seseh Bali Resort will be situated on black volcanic shores, a short drive from the southern coast hotspots of Canggu and Seminyak.

The 216-key resort will be the third Anantara property in Bali.

“Global travellers cannot get enough of Bali as arrivals grow well past pre-pandemic levels,” said CEO of Minor International Group and Minor Hotels, Dillip Rajakarier.

“Today’s travellers continue to look for new ways to appreciate Bali’s rich heritage and the island’s diverse experiences.

“We look forward to partnering with Taryan Group to show travellers why Seseh Beach is Bali’s next hotspot by offering guests unforgettable experiences on the island.”

Designed by renowned British architect John Dawes, the resort draws inspiration from the mystical Barong of Bali, a dragon-like guardian.

Facilities will include Anantara Spa, dedicated yoga and meditation studios, a fitness centre, beach lounge and three swimming pools. Food and beverage venues will include an all-day dining restaurant, specialty Japanese restaurant and a poolside bar.

Anantara Dragon Seseh Bali Residences will be available for purchase through Taryan Group, with Anantara providing overall resort management.

“We are honoured to work with Minor Hotels in bringing Anantara Dragon Seseh Bali Resort and Anantara Dragon Seseh Bali Residences to Seseh Beach,” said Taryan Group Founder and Owner, Artur Mkhitaryan.

“The combination of the distinctive architecture and design of our cocoon residences, elevated by the Anantara signature hospitality, will offer guests and owners extraordinary experiences that celebrate Bali’s natural beauty and culture.

Minor Hotels currently operates two properties in Bali, the 73-key Anantara Uluwatu Bali Resort and 37-key Avani Seminyak Bali Resort. The group is expected to open the Anantara Ubud Bali Resort, set within tropical jungle and verdant rice fields, in September.
