Oakwood Premier Melbourne is set to launch its revamped lobby bar next week, under the new name of Oak Lounge, revealing not only a new look with updated furnishings in calming shades of bronze and teal, but a refreshed food and drinks menu to boot.

The new seasonal menu will be centred around tasty and hearty comfort food using local ingredients, crafted by Oakwood’s recently appointed Head Chef, Jean-Pierre Sauterelle, who brings extensive experience from Crown Resorts, Grand Hyatt Hotels, Endeavour Group and more.

Local producers such as CBCo Brewing, Starward Whisky and Archie Rose Distilling Co will be heavily featured on the drinks list and a signature cocktail that changes with the season will also be on offer.

The launch of Oak Lounge coincides with the roll-out of Oakwood’s global campaign – All You Knead is Comfort – which will invite guests to experience a selection of “comfort-food inspired programming”.
