Quest Apartment Hotels has formed a multifaceted partnership with the Cronulla Sharks National Rugby League (NRL) Club for the 2024 and 2025 seasons.

The partnership will see Quest supporting both the NRLW (front-of-jersey sponsor) and NRL (back of shorts sponsor) as a Major Partner, as well as an Official Community Partner and Official Membership Partner.

Quest has also secured naming rights to ‘Quest Family Hill’ at PointsBet Stadium.

“Quest Business Owners have been supporting their local communities for 36 years across Australia, so partnering with a community focused national brand in the Cronulla Sharks was a natural fit,” said The Ascott Limited, Australia General Manager, Brand and Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG), Anthea Dimitrakopoulos.

“Whether it’s on the sports field or as a Business Owner at one of our properties, Quest believes everyone deserves a place to be themselves. That’s why Quest is proud to be the Major Partner of both the Cronulla Sharks Club Men’s and Women’s teams.”

Dimitrakopoulos said Quest was motivated by Sharks’ inclusivity efforts through the ‘Sharks Have Heart’ program.

“Quest and the Cronulla Sharks believe we are only truly successful when the people around us and communities we operate in are thriving too,” she said.

“As an Official Community Partner of the ‘Sharks Have Heart’ program, we are proud to be enabling rugby league clinics for people with disability, anti-racism and social inclusion school programs, and healthy living programs for kids.”

The Ascott Limited, Australia Managing Director, David Mansfield, described the investment as a “milestone moment” for Quest.

“Off the back of our most successful year on record, we’re excited to be scaling up investments in the success of our business owners through national brand awareness, corporate hospitality and most of all our commitment to nurturing communities,” he said.

“A Quest business is more than bricks and mortar. Quest creates a sense of home through providing a place where everyone feels welcome, comfortable, and connected to their local community. From Quest Sydney Olympic Park to Quest Kelvin grove near Suncorp Stadium, this partnership means even more NRL fans will feel right at home when staying with Quest.”

With a growing franchise network, which added over 250 keys across three greenfield properties in 2023, Quest aims to offer NRL fans a comfortable place to stay when travelling to games.

“It’s exciting that we can take our brand on a journey with Quest given they have over 160 hotels across 60 metropolitan, regional and suburban locations throughout Australia, New Zealand, the UK and Fiji,” said Sharks CEO Dino Mezzatesta.

“It’s a privilege to join forces with an accommodation powerhouse that have been a leader in serviced apartments for 36 years and counting. Not only are Quest always striving for excellence, but they also operate with community at the forefront of their plans and share our values.”
