Canberra property group Doma is set to introduce its third Little National property this April with the opening of a 181-room hotel in Newcastle.

Located at 44 Honeysuckle Drive, within Newcastle’s waterfront commercial and entertainment precinct, the hotel is located a short walk from the city’s Transport Interchange.

“We’re thrilled to be bringing a Little National Hotel to Newcastle,” said Doma Managing Director, Jure Domazet.

“With the substantial development of the Honeysuckle Precinct over recent years, we saw this as a great opportunity to provide guests the ability to explore Newcastle’s newest entertainment area.

“Our approach has always been to provide guests with a convenient, modern contemporary hotel experience, without the cost of 5-star accommodation.”

Little National Newcastle marks the seventh hotel in the Doma portfolio and follows Little National hotels in Sydney and Canberra.

The “affordable luxury” is concept based on delivering “everything you need and nothing you don’t”.

Doma has once again collaborated with architect Bates Smart and interior designer Luchetti Krelle on the Newcastle project to ensure that Little National Hotel’s signature refined, modern Australian design and serene environment is achieved.

The hotel will feature a 24-hour wellness centre with advanced Technogym equipment, as well as a lounge bar and library, complete with private working spaces and communal areas.
