A less discovered alternative to the traditional Gold Coast getaway, Hervey Bay is a scenic 3 ½ hours’ drive north of Brisbane – or a speedy 45-minute flight – and home to 14km of beautiful beaches, fabulous fish and chips, and outdoor activities aplenty.
