Beachside hotel Crowne Plaza Terrigal Pacific is set to introduce an upscale dining concept to New South Wales’ Central Coast this November.

Meribella, located at the top of a sweeping staircase on Level 1 of the hotel, will offer a fresh take on classic dishes, taking inspiration from its seaside location.

The restaurant is led by Head Chef Joshua Mason, who returns to his childhood home of the Central Coast having carved an exciting culinary career working with internationally acclaimed restaurants, including two Michelin-star restaurant Atelier Crenn in San Francisco.

Mason will be supported by a team of local talent to deliver a reimagined food and beverage offering with European influences.

He believes Meribella will energise Central Coast dining.

“Growing up in the Central Coast, I’m eager to bring a new era of sophisticated coastal dining to Terrigal. There is certainly a nostalgic feeling about coming back home with so many great memories on the Coast. I’m eager to give something back to my community, while championing our passionate team of local talent,” said Mason.

“Meribella is inspired by European dining, as well as its fresh seaside locale. The atmosphere we have curated is approachable and welcoming, with luxurious interiors. The food is designed to be an epicurean journey for guests, with a large wine list and innovative cocktails. We look forward to unveiling Meribella in November.”

Meribella’s striking and luxurious design features a light-filled conservatory with high ceilings and arches, vibrant textures, natural tones and restored marble.

Diners can enjoy views of the ocean and a spacious adjoining bar with an eclectic wine list and cocktails.
