The red ribbon has been officially cut at Club Wyndham Airlie Beach, where three luxury Presidential villas have been unveiled to rave reviews.

The new trio exemplifies tropical living at its best: a beautiful fusion of indoor and outdoor spaces and spectacular views of the Whitsunday Passage. Each spacious villa sleeps six – suitable for three couples, a group of friends or a large family – and features inside and alfresco dining settings, cabanas and day beds, outdoor showers and spa baths.

Each villa has an open plan kitchen with 5-green-star rated appliances. Every bedroom has an ensuite and thoughtful touches are evident in the main bedroom’s printed feature walls, expansive walk-in wardrobe, rain shower and freestanding tub with breathtaking views.

Privacy is a key consideration, and the villas’ decks are built to ensure comfort and seclusion. Each villa has its own secure entrance in the resort.

“These villas were originally three-storey homes before undergoing a $3 million refurbishment – one of our most ambitious renewals yet,” said Senior Vice President Acquisitions, Procurement, Property Development and Technical Services, Wyndham Destinations Asia Pacific, David Wray.

The grand transformation saw roof lines extended and new decks added, while timber floors were sanded and polished, wool carpets were laid in bedrooms and the bathrooms were overhauled.

Two can currently be booked by the public, while one is available to members of Club Wyndham South Pacific. “The superior inclusions and fixtures – and commanding views – of these Presidential villas make them our most ambitious inventory and serve to take the concept of timeshare to a new level. People want to experience luxury and these villas make it accessible,” added Mr Wray.
