Hilton’s upscale-focused service brand Hilton Garden Inn is ramping up expansion across Asia Pacific with more than 20 hotels set to open across the region this year.

Building on a portfolio of 65 properties in the region, there are over 100 more in the pipeline with 2023 openings in Busselton (Australia), Da Nang (Vietnam), Shanghai (China) and Hohhot (Inner Mongolia, China).

Since 2021, Hilton Garden Inn has entered new markets across APAC including gateway cities in Japan, South Korea, Thailand, and Australia. And in late February, the brand debuted its 50th property in Greater China – its first in Beijing – since launching in the region in 2014.

Hilton Garden Inn Beijing Haidian Daoxiang Lake is expected to replicate the ongoing success of the brand’s properties in Greater China, which last year saw 900,000 guests come through the doors – a figure that is set to triple in the coming years.

A thoughtful regionalisation of the brand has resulted in subtle elevation such as premium soundproofing of rooms, modern and functional workspaces, lounge worthy seating, premium bath amenities, and local artworks to provides a sense of place.

“Travellers today have more exacting demands for quality, design, comfort, and value,” said Hilton’s Vice President, Brand Management, Suites and Focused Service, Asia Pacific, Jenny Milos.

With Hilton Garden Inn, we are meticulously innovating and optimizing the guest experience to offer subtly elevated accommodation and modern amenities that allow travellers to unwind, relax, and rejuvenate.”
