Short-term rental operator Alloggio has entered a distribution partnership with Marriott International which will see 1300 of its holiday rentals available on Homes and Villas by Marriott International.

The decision to distribute 70% of its inventory through Marriott’s platform will greatly extend the Alloggio’s national and global reach and improve the offering for hosts and guests, the company said.

“The partnership super-charges the Alloggio brand, as we ramp up our strategic growth objectives in the best holiday locations along Australia’s eastern seaboard and beyond,’’ said Alloggio Founder and CEO, Will Creedon.

“We are delighted to offer a collection of 1,300 premium short term rental properties in Australia’s favourite holiday hot spots to Homes and Villas by Marriott International’s millions of loyalty program members around the world.”

At Alloggio’s full-year results in August, the company reported a gross revenue increase to AU$27.9 million. It also revealed that it had invested more than AU$18 million in management acquisitions across Australia’s favourite holiday hotspots as part of a 12-month expansion program.

Homes and Villas by Marriott International launched in May 2019 to cater to the premium and luxury home rental market with professionally-managed private homes in sought-after destinations. In June 2022, the platform was rolled out to the Asia Pacific market with the opening of over 350 properties across Australia and New Zealand.
