Accommodation Association CEO, Richard Munro

Accommodation Association CEO Richard Munro says he is delighted to welcome back Working Holiday Maker (WHM) visa holders and international students and is urging them to take advantage of the many jobs available in Australia’s hotels, motels and accommodation sector.

With job vacancies in the hospitality sector at record highs, and as travel continues to normalise, the Association says there are great and rewarding employment options available across all levels.

“The accommodation industry welcomes back WHM and international students who will help fill the yawning gap of employees required to help hotels, motels and serviced apartments reach their potential after suffering through 2021″ he said.

“This is a fantastic opportunity for Working Holiday Makers and students to get jobs in a growing industry that offers excellent career prospects across all of the departments of our busy accommodation properties.

“Whether it is starting in a restaurant, busy housekeeping, sales & marketing or IT, there are many choices in  this fast paced industry.

“The Accommodation Association has set up an online Hospitality portal The Hub to help match jobseekers at all levels with employers on our website or you can approach local accommodation providers directly.”
