New Zealand mandates vaccine
NZ businesses will be given the power to decide whether or not staff must be vaccinated.

Online travel booking platform Agoda has expanded its ‘Vaxxed To Go’ campaign to Australia after a successful run in Malaysia, whereby hotel partners can offer a further 10% discount to fully vaccinated travellers.

Agoda says the campaign is designed to help the travel industry come together and play a part in helping the community return to normal.

In return for the additional discount, participating hotels will receive highlighted exposure across Agoda’s product and market touchpoints including social media, banner promotions, in-app pop-ups and direct EDMs along with a dedicated landing page for the Vaxxed to Go campaign.

Agoda’s Director of Oceania, Zsuzsanna Janos, said the company is aiming to inspire industry partners to play their part in encouraging Australians to get travelling again.

“After months of lockdown, Australians are no doubt looking forward to travelling again as it becomes safe to do so,” Janos said.

“Australians have a healthy appetite for travel, so by promoting the concept of Vaxxed To Go — exclusive deals for vaccinated travellers — Agoda hopes to encourage more Australians to feel safe and confident to travel again and to get their COVID-19 shots.”
