Finalists in 41 categories have been named for the 2021 HM Awards, presented by Sealy Posturepedic.

Hotels and individuals eager to recognise a property or person for outstanding performance are now invited to submit a nomination in the 2021 HM Awards for Hotel and Accommodation Excellence, presented by Sealy Posturepedic.

Now in its 19th year, the annual HM Awards are the eminent highlight on the social calendar of the hotel, hospitality and tourism calendar, with excellence to be recognised once again in more than 40 categories.

HM Awards Chief Judge and HM Magazine Editor, James Wilkinson, said the annual event will once again recognise the incredible talent in the accommodation industry across Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific.

“We are proud to present and host the HM Awards and recognise some of the best and the brightest people, departments and properties in the industry,” he said.

“We have seen some stunning new hotels open and others thrive in their destination, run by the best hotel staff in the world – and that’s what we can’t wait to recognise at our annual gala presentation dinner later this year.”

The 2021 event will take place in Sydney on Friday 19 November at the Sydney Town Hall, one of the city’s most spectacular venues.

The charm, sophistication and character of the historic building will once again make for a glamorous night to be shared by hotels and their teams throughout Australia and New Zealand and the South Pacific.

Returning to host the 2021 HM Awards ceremony will be Australian media personality, Melissa Doyle.

Following glowing feedback for her performance in 2020, beloved Australian media personality Melissa Doyle has been confirmed to return as emcee for the 2021 HM Awards.

The HM Awards are able to take place each year thanks to the event’s presenting partner and major sponsors, including Sealy Posturepedic, Intrust Super, AHS Hospitality, Dyson Appliances, Foxtel Business and Blue Mountains International Hotel Management School.

Entries for the 2021 HM Awards will close on Friday 20 August.
