Launched in support of Tourism Australia’s #holidayherethisyear initiative and in collaboration with Genesis Cars, the ‘Suite Ride’ promotion offers access to the vehicle from 8:30am to 12:30pm or 1pm to 5pm each day. The vehicle must be reserved in advance and is subject to availability, with one vehicle to be positioned at each Ovolo hotel in Sydney, Brisbane, Canberra and Melbourne.

Rental of the vehicle is at no cost to the guest, however they will need to pay to refuel the car and return it with a full tank before being reimbursed by Ovolo for this cost.

The Genesis G70 can be taken out for four-hour rentals.

Ovolo Group Director of Marketing, Stephen Howard, said Ovolo was used to “zigging while others zag” and that offering access to the Genesis vehicle would be a great value add incentive for guests booking direct with the hotel.

“As a collection of contemporary hotels, we are constantly looking to keep our guests connected to the little luxuries they love, in the most effortless was possible,” he said.

“We pride ourselves on being in touch with the modern traveller, with the emphasise on staycations to support local business, a complimentary car just made sense.”

Ovolo Nishi is one of the hotels where the Genesis vehicle will be available.

According to the Genesis website, the luxury Genesis G70 retails from AUD$59,170 and features a 3.3L V6 engine with twin turbochargers and eight-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters, keyless entry and push-button start.

“We want as many Australians as possible to know what they deserve from their luxury car purchases. Broadening this reach with our partnership with Ovolo Hotels is a first, and very exciting for us,” said Genesis Motors Australia National Marketing Manager, Stewart Parnaby.
