TFE Hotels has installed two new General Managers at two of its newest Adina addresses in Melbourne, with both bringing extensive experience in Australia and New Zealand to their new roles.

Nigel Maxey has been appointed to the General Manager stewardship of Adina Apartment Hotel Melbourne Southbank, culminating in a return to Melbourne for the TFE journeyman, who in two years since joining TFE in 2018 has moved from roles in Food and Beverage to General Manager across TFE’s Adina, Travelodge, Rendezvous, Vibe and The Savoy brands in Victoria, South Australia and Tasmania.

Maxey’s CV to date includes time at properties including Werribee Mansion and The Jasper in Melbourne.

The Adina Apartment Hotel West Melbourne has welcomed Lucy Ockleston, who has taken the reins at the 99-room hotel rapidly making its mark on the city’s culture-rich ‘West End’ precinct.

Adina Apartment Hotel Melbourne Southbank features 220 rooms and apartments.

Nearing a decade within the TFE family, Ockleston is a graduate of the company’s ‘Academe’ Management Leadership Program, from which she has progressed from roles in Food and Beverage into Assistant Hotel Manager. She joins the scene in Melbourne from recent roles with Travelodge Newcastle and Travelodge Newcastle.

Joining Maxey at Adina Melbourne Southbank will be Assistant Hotel Manager, Emma Jarrett. Another graduate of TFE’s Academe program, she has worked with TFE since 2013 and returns to the Victorian capital having recently served as Assistant Hotel Manager at Adina Apartment Hotel Brisbane Anzac Square.
