Crowne Plaza Terrigal Pacific on the NSW Central Coast has installed Cameron Abbott as its new General Manager, with the move now in effect.
The move is the second stint at the 199-room hotel for Abbott, who returns to the property after nine years when he served as Hotel Manager in 2012. Since then, he has worked across numerous InterContinental, Crowne Plaza and Holiday Inn properties across Australia, Fiji and Malaysia.
Abbott, who first started with IHG in 2005, moves into the role having most recently served as GM at Holiday Inn Resort on the Malaysian island of Penang.
“I am thrilled to have the opportunity to return to Terrigal for this role,” he said.
“Like many of our guests, I have been drawn back to the area by the idyllic location, the people, sense of community, and of course, that quintessential Central Coast charm.”
Crowne Plaza Terrigal Pacific has recently opened its new F&B venue on its ground floor – Terrigal Beach House – with the new offering featuring a variety of multipurpose spaces including a 30-metre bar and outdoor beach-style seating across the road from Terrigal beach.
