Upper-midscale Asian brand, Quincy Hotels, will make its debut in Australia after TFE Hotels announced the local introduction of the label in Melbourne.
Quincy Hotel Melbourne, to be located at the top of Flinders Lane, will feature 241 rooms and guest facilities including three F&B outlets, club lounge and rooftop swimming pool offering guests panoramic views over the city. The hotel is owned by InterGlobe Enterprises UK Limited.
The announcement was made by TFE Hotels CEO, Antony Ritch, speaking on-stage at the Australian Hotel Industry Conference and Exhibition (AHICE), headline sponsored by Intrust Super and Hostplus. Ritch said he was thrilled to see the Singapore-based brand make its way into the Australian market.
“With Quincy we are bringing the sights, sounds and most importantly flavours of South East Asia to Australia,” Ritch said.
“Quincy will immerse our guests in a colourful and contemporary experience unlike anything that’s currently available in Australia,” he added.
TFE says Quincy Melbourne will be aimed at a “generation on the go” and urban socialites with a finer penchant for culture. TFE Hotels says the hotel will feature innovative interior design and building architecture.
TFE Hotels People and Capability Manager, Kim Garner, who is actively recruiting for a number of senior roles at Quincy Melbourne including a General Manager, Executive Chef and F&B Manager, said she was on the hunt for cutting-edge professionals to help bring the brand to life.
“Like our Quincy guests, we have incredibly high expectations. This is a hotel brand that is aimed at guests who are looking for a one-of-a-kind experience; so, passion, attitude and attention to detail are key,” Garner said.
