Wyndham’s generous offer extends to frontline and all support personnel in the COVID front line.

Benefits usually reserved exclusively for Gold status members of Wyndham Hotels and Resorts’ will be awarded to frontline health and support workers worldwide under a new initiative from the global accommodation giant.

Under the company’s new #EverydayHeroes program, all essential employees carrying out duties associated with the treatment, prevention, care and support of all other ordinary citizens will be able to make use of the rewards – either as a new member of Wyndham Rewards or by having their existing membership upgraded.

The initiative extends not just to doctors, nurses, paramedics and direct healthcare industry workers but also to those in support roles including delivery drivers, supermarket workers, grocery handlers, hotel staff, warehouse workers and many other professions which have seen an increase in normal workloads brought on by the onset of the global COVID-19 outbreak.

Workers may check their eligibility and apply by CLICKING HERE. Membership upgrade must be requested by 30 September 2020 and will remain active until 31 December 2021 when regular status qualification review criteria are met or exceeded.

Wyndham’s offer extends to the all-too-forgotten support personnel keeping the world moving.

Perks available to Gold tiered members include members-only discounts, preferred room selection, late checkout, accelerated points earning and dedicated phone lines for member services.

Wyndham Hotels and Resorts President and CEO, Geoff Ballotti, said the gesture was one small way the company could help these essential workers enjoy their next holiday just a little bit more.

“We’re humbled to honour such a deserving group of individuals – everyday people who have been performing herculean tasks in the face of danger,” Ballotti said.

“In the South East Asia and Pacific Rim region, we have seen and heard countless stories of the efforts of frontline workers, as well as unsung heroes, who have gone above and beyond the call of duty. This is a small gesture from us to say ‘thank you’ to these individuals for keeping us safe during these trying times.”
