Skye Suites Green Square was the newest addition to the brand, opening earlier this year.
Skye Suites Green Square was originally due to open in July but will welcome long-stay guests early.

Rising demand in the long-stay market segment has prompted Skye Suites Green Square to open its serviced apartment and residence component next week, ahead of its official short-stay hotel opening in July.

The company, which last week reported success in its extended-stay business model at its two existing properties in Parramatta and the Sydney CBD, will open its third property in the NSW capital ahead of schedule to allow it to continue catering to the growing traveller market seeking a space to isolate while still maintaining a normal work schedule.

The early opening will cater to stays of three months or longer, with Crown Group Chief Operating Officer, Pierre Abrahamse labelling the new property as the most exciting opening of 2020.

Interior design at Skye Suites Green Square was completed by Chada.

“These are the perfect locales to enjoy a luxurious and comfortable stay that feels just like home, but with the luxury touches of a hotel.

“Guests can do all their own cooking and washing, order home delivery from nearby restaurants, and enjoy their own entertainment on huge flat-screen TVs, just as they would at home. They literally don’t need to step out the door to enjoy a nice lifestyle.”

Skye Suites Green Square exists within an innovative, cantilevered building occupying prime real estate in an enclave of the city fringes rapidly transforming from an industrial hub to a trendy, urban precinct tipped to welcome tens of thousands of new residents by the end of the current decade.

Each apartment, designed by Koichi Takada Architects, features a fully equipped kitchen and laundry along with either a balcony or outdoor terrace. Appliances include a Smeg cooktop along with microwave and refrigerator, along with washing machine and dryer. Each residence features an in-room virtual concierge apartment assisting guests to access hotel facilities. Mobile check-in is also available to ensure a contact-free process in the current health environment.
