Ovolo feeling ‘Wonder. Full’ in new brand evolution

Ovolo’s new ‘Wonder. Full’ tagline reflects the brand’s cheeky and playful attitude.

Ovolo Hotels has implemented a new marketing tagline as part of a brand evolution the company says better captures its sense of quirkiness, imagination and unconventional approach to traditional hospitality.

Dubbed ‘Wonder. Full’, the branding will appear on many consumer touchpoints including print advertisements and social media posts down to room key cards and the company’s famous and popular in-room ‘loot bags’. Internally, the tagline is backed by ‘Rules for Rule-Breakers’ guidelines as the branding is taken to market.

In addition, the company will add the ‘By Ovolo’ tag to a variety of its services at a number of hotels including Ovolo Nishi Apartments Canberra, Sheung Wan Central Hong Kong and the soon-to-open Ovolo Bali, which remains on track to open in the second half of 2020.

Ovolo Hotels Founder and CEO, Girish Jhunjhnuwala, said the revised artwork aligned the identity of the company with the overall hotel guest experience.

“Sophisticated yet creative and quirky interiors, and an increasingly design-savvy audience gave us an opportunity to elevate our brand whilst maintaining the innovative, disruptive yet cheeky spirit that continues to drive us in everything we do,” Jhunjhnuwala said.

Company Director of Marketing, Stephen Howard, added the new tagline reflected Ovolo’s desire to continually be innovating and enhancing the customer experience.

“Each unique, Ovolo hotels are famous for delivering consistently rich experiences to our guests. So, the idea of celebrating a place full of wonder was an obvious inspiration and insight to inform the brand evolution.”
