Hilton has bolstered its commercial team with the appointment of Shaizeen Contractor to a newly-created role as its new Senior Commercial Director, Australasia.
In her new role, Contractor will support new hotel openings and drive commercial performance as new properties stake their claim on local market share. Building relationships with commercial partners will also take part in her remit.
Bringing nearly two decades of hospitality experience to her new role, Contractor moves from TFE Hotels where she most recently held the role of Chief Revenue Officer. Her duties at TFE included managing revenue, marketing and sales for 73 hotels across Australia, New Zealand and a growing portfolio in Europe.
Hilton Vice President, Operations, Australasia, Heidi Kunkel said Contractor’s array of talents included hotel operations, revenue management, distribution, sales, marketing and the customer experience.
“She has exceptional business acumen and has a proven track record of delivering results and demonstrating leadership that builds talent and creates opportunities.
As we continue to expand our footprint in the region, we are so thrilled to have Shaizeen join the Australasia leadership team,” Kunkel added.
