Voyages Indigenous Tourism Australia has hired experienced hotelier Philip Logan in a cluster General Manager role in which he will oversee the group’s five Ayers Rock properties.
Logan is well-known to the industry as the former GM of the Sofitel Sydney Wentworth and will also take charge of the properties’ food and beverage outlets, retail department and outdoor catering division. He brings extensive leadership experience to the new role, having worked in hotels across the UK, Middle East, Asia Pacific and the Subcontinent.
Voyages CEO, Grant Hunt, said the organisation was delighted to welcome Philip to the company and his new role. Logan will report directly to Chief Operating Officer, David White.
“With such high occupancy throughout all of the hotels this is a pivotal role in the continual provision of exceptional customer service to our guests,” Hunt added.
