Quest Apartment Hotels has hit the Northern Hemisphere for the first time, opening the doors to guests for the first time at Quest Liverpool City Centre – its maiden property in the UK.

Following a £10 million (AUD$18.3 million) investment to transform a former commercial office complex into 100 serviced apartments, the new Quest property is located across the street from Liverpool Lime Street Station – the city’s primary connection to London and the rest of the UK.

The property offers studio, one and two-bedroom apartments along with facilities including a fitness centre and chargeback options for selected local restaurants.

Quest Founder and Executive Chairman, Paul Constantinou, said despite headwinds and uncertainties brought on by Brexit, the demand for business travel was still there and continues to grow.

Quest’s offering targets both extended and short-stay business travellers requiring more than just a standard hotel stay and looking for a genuine home away from home experience. The ability to seamlessly transition between work and home life is at the core of our offering.”

Cycas Hospitality has been named as the franchisee for Quest Liverpool City Centre, with Paris D’Allessandro as General Manager and Kerry Smith as Director of Sales.

The debut of the company in the United Kingdom, Constantinou added, was the start of an expansion plan which, once critical mass had been achieved, could see the brand branch out into cities throughout the UK including Manchester, Belfast, Glasgow, Leeds, Bristol, Birmingham, Edinburgh and throughout Greater London.
