Adrian Teh will oversee Hilton’s two Melbourne hotels in his new role as Cluster GM.

Hilton has promoted Adrian Teh to a new Cluster General Manager role in which he will take charge of both of the company’s hotels in Melbourne.

Teh’s duties will include overseeing operations at both DoubleTree by Hilton – Flinders Street and the soon-to-open 244-room Hilton Melbourne Little Queen Street, which is due to open its doors to guests in the first quarter of 2020.

First hired by Hilton in 2014, Teh brings extensive experience as Director of Operations at Hilton properties in Brisbane and Sydney, also taking on a secondment to a similar role in Melbourne before moving across the Tasman to take up a General Manager role at Hilton Auckland and Hilton Lake Taupo.

Hilton Melbourne Little Queen Street will open in early 2020.

The new Cluster role will only oversee the two aforementioned Melbourne hotels, with Hilton having not yet made any appointments for its new 600-room Hilton Melbourne Square due to open in 2023.

Hilton Vice President, Operations, Australasia, Heidi Kunkel, said the company was delighted with the new appointment, describing Adrian as a dedicated General Manager.

“As we expand our Australasia footprint and bring our flagship Hilton Hotels & Resorts brand back into the Melbourne market, I have no doubt that Adrian will lead his teams to great success.”
