Eight new General Managers have been named at Accor properties around Australia, including the opening GM taking charge at the soon-to-open The Adnate – Art Series Perth.

Moving back to Perth to take the role will be Craig Kelmar, who most recently held the role of General Manager at Mercure Broome. Kelmar has previously worked in the capital as Rooms Division Manager at Novotel Langley Perth whilst taking on secondment opportunities.

In other General Manager changes:

Maurits de Graeff will take charge at The Playford Adelaide – Mgallery by Sofitel. Bringing quite the decorated GM resume, he moves from Mantra Macarthur, having previously overseen operations at Jamala Wildlife Lodge and Hotel Realm in Canberra.

Novotel Perth Langley will welcome Brad Coelho as its new GM. Coelho moves to the WA capital after 15 years in senior Food & Beverage and Front Office managerial roles including with Novotel Melbourne on Collins and Freycinet Lodge in Tasmania.

Returning to the hotel fold will be Nikki Little, who will soon commence at Ibis Sydney Airport. After stints at a variety of hotels all over Sydney including Manly, the North Shore and as Director of Accor’s Darling Harbour hotels, Little gets back into the game after most recently serving as General Manager at Ronald McDonald House Westmead.

In changes at the Mantra fold in both Brisbane and Melbourne, Larrissa Holdsworth has been named as the new General Manager at Mantra Midtown in Brisbane, with Andrew Walling taking over at Mantra St Kilda Road. Holdsworth relocates from Tasmania for her new role, where she was previously leading the team at Peppers Seaport Hotel in Launceston. Walling was previously at Mantra on Jolimont for the previous two years.

Two promotions have been recognised within the Ibis Group. Mamta Chauhan has reached the GM post at Ibis Budget Enfield, having most recently acted in an Assistant GM role at various properties. She is joined in the promotion ranks by Rachael Kolmajer, who has graduated from Assistant Manager at Ibis Budget Newcastle to the top job as GM. Previously, Kolmajer held the position of Food & Beverage Supervisor at Mercure Newcastle Airport.
