Hilton Garden Inn Albany will open to guests later in 2021.

Hilton has expanded its Garden Inn brand into Australia, announcing today it will open the Hilton Garden Inn Albany in Western Australia’s south-west coast late next year.

Less than three months after introducing the Garden Inn brand to the Pacific region in Fiji, the newest addition marks the fourth Hilton brand to operate in Australia, alongside the Hilton flagship brand, DoubleTree by Hilton and Curio Collection by Hilton.

The midscale Hilton Garden Inn Albany is part of a management agreement with Foreshore Investments Albany Pty Ltd. Featuring 108 rooms including eight superior rooms and four corner suites, the hotel will also offer guest facilities including a restaurant, bar, fitness centre and three meeting rooms totalling 165 square metres of space. The hotel will be positioned on the waterfront, next door to the town’s Entertainment Centre and boasting ocean views.

Hilton Garden Inn Senior Vice President, John Greenleaf, said the brand had been looking for the right opportunity to enter Australia for some time.

“With the rise of the middle-class traveller, we believe that the Hilton Garden Inn brand will be extremely well-received in Australia and we look forward to bringing our bright and warm hospitality to travellers visiting the region.”
